The Public Law Institute (PLI) is a research centre at the University of Barcelona specialized in Public Law. The PLI offers a limited number of positions available for visiting researchers and scholars wishing to spend a minimum of three months to conduct post-graduate research on their own. Positions are unpaid and prospective visitors are expected to cover his/her own accommodation expenses, however the PLI may support the researchers in their applications for grants or allowances provided by other institutions, under request.

The PLI will provide prospective researchers with a small desk in the library and eventually a senior supervisor. The main areas of research of the PLI are EU Law, Constitutional Law, Immigration Law, Federalism and Municipal Law.
